After the fastest 9 months of our lives, our 3rd boy, Owen, arrived on Friday, November 14th @ 3:27 pm. He was born 19.5" long and 8lbs 6oz. The labor and delivery went relatively fast as Mary was induced at 8am and was in active labor at 2pm.
Dean is enjoying his baby brother and loves to show him all the things he has and teach him new things about the world around him. Evan loves his baby brother and is adjusting to not being the youngest.
Since the delivery was scheduled, Darren was able to take Friday off and is working from home this week as necessary, so he can help take Dean to and from school, as well as, help with the baby.
Mary is recovering well and is enjoying having a newborn to hold.
Evan, when he saw his baby brother for the first time, said "Let's sit here on this chair and watch him grow."
Dean said to his aunt Sophia when she was going to go see Owen, "My baby brother will be so cute, his face will be red and his eyes will be squeezed tight."
